Pimoroni Ltd was founded in 2012 in Sheffield, UK by Jon Williamson and Paul Beech with the modest aim of selling a colorful laser-cut acrylic case for the Raspberry Pi. The company has since become one of the best-known maker suppliers in the UK and an independent manufacturer carrying on Sheffield's proud manufacturing heritage.
