MIC5216500mA Peak Output LDO w/ Flag | PMIC | 25 | Active | The MIC5216 is an efficient linear voltage regulator with high peak output current capability, very low dropout voltage, and better than 1% output voltage accuracy. Dropout is typically 10mV at light loads and less than 500mV at full load.
The MIC5216 is designed to provide a peak output current for startup conditions where higher in-rush current is demanded. It features a 500mA peak output rating. Continuous output current is limited only by package and layout.
The MIC5216 has an internal undervoltage monitor with a flag output. It also can be enabled or shutdown by a CMOS- or TTL-compatible signal. When disabled, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Dropout ground current is minimized to help prolong battery life. Other key features include reversed battery protection, current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and low noise performance.
The MIC5216 is available in fixed output voltages in space-saving SOT-23-5 and MM8® 8-pin power MSOP packages. For higher power requirements, see the MIC5209 or MIC5237. |

MIC5219500mA Peak Output LDO | PMIC | 44 | Active | The MIC5219 is an efficient linear voltage regulator with high peak output current capability, very-low dropout voltage, and better than 1% output voltage accuracy. Dropout is typically 10mV at light loads and less than 500mV at full load.
The MIC5219 is designed to provide a peak output current for start-up conditions where higher in-rush current is demanded. It features a 500mA peak output rating. Continuous output current is limited only by package and layout.
The MIC5219 can be enabled or shut down by a CMOS- or TTL-compatible signal. When disabled, power consumption drops to nearly zero. Dropout ground current is minimized to help prolong battery life. Other key features include reversed battery protection, current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and low noise performance with an ultra-low noise option.
The MIC5219 is available in adjustable or fixed output voltages in SOT-23-5, and MM8® 8-pin power MSOP packages. For higher power requirements, see the MIC5209 or MIC5237. |
MIC5225Ultra-Low Quiescent Current 150mA uCap LDO | Power Management (PMIC) | 5 | Active | The MIC5225 is a 150mA highly accurate, low dropout regulator with high input voltage and ultra-low ground current. This combination of high input voltage and low ground current makes the MIC5225 ideal for a wide variety of applications including USB and portable electronics applications, using 1-cell, 2-cell, or 3-cell Li-Ion battery inputs.
A µCap LDO design, the MIC5225 is stable with either a ceramic or tantalum output capacitor. It only requires a 2.2µF capacitor for stability.
Features of the MIC5225 include enable input, thermal shutdown, current limit, reverse battery protection, and reverse leakage protection.
Available in fixed and adjustable output voltage versions, the MIC5225 is offered in the IttyBitty® SOT23-5 package with a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. |

MIC523210mA Ultra Low Iq Single uCap LDO | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 7 | Active | The MIC5232 is an ultra-low quiescent current, low-dropout linear regulator that is capable of operating from a single-cell lithium ion battery. Consuming only 1.8µA of quiescent current while operating, the MIC5232 is ideal for stand-by applications like powering real-time clocks or memory in battery-operated electronics.
The MIC5232 is capable of providing 10mA of output current and has low output noise, providing a small, efficient solution ideal for any keep-alive application including reverse current protection, keeping reverse leakage (VOUT > VIN) down to 20nA.
The MIC5232 is a µCap design, operating with very small ceramic output capacitors for stability, reducing required board space and component cost.
The MIC5232 is available in SOT-23-5 package with an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. |
MIC5233High Vin, Low Iq LDO Regulator | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 13 | Active | The MIC5233 is a 100mA, highly accurate, low dropout regulator with high input voltage and ultra-low ground current. This combination of high input voltage and low ground current makes the MIC5233 ideal for multi-cell Li-Ion battery systems.
A µCap LDO design, the MIC5233 is stable with either ceramic or tantalum output capacitors. It only requires a 2.2µF capacitor for stability.
Features of the MIC5233 include enable input, thermal shutdown, current limit, reverse battery protection, and reverse leakage protection.
Available in fixed and adjustable output voltage versions, the MIC5233 is offered in the IttyBitty® SOT-23-5 package with a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. |
