The MIC2025 and MIC2075 are high-side MOSFET switches optimized for general-purpose power distribution requiring circuit protection. The MIC2025/75 are internally current limited and have thermal shutdown that protects the device and load. The MIC2075 offers "smart" thermal shutdown that reduces current consumption in fault modes. When a thermal shutdown fault occurs, the output is latched off until the faulty load is removed. Removing the load or toggling the enable input will reset the device output. Both devices employ soft-start circuitry that minimizes inrush current in applications where highly capacitive loads are employed. A fault status output flag is provided that is asserted during overcurrent and thermal shutdown conditions. The MIC2025/75 is available in the MM8® 8-lead MSOP and 8-lead SOP.

The MIC2026A and MIC2076A are high-side MOSFET switches optimized for general-purpose power distribution requiring circuit protection. The MIC2026A is particularly well suited for USB applications. The MIC2026A/2076A are internally current limited and have thermal shutdown that protects the device and load. The MIC2076A offers "smart" shutdown that reduces current consumption in fault modes. When the MIC2076A goes into thermal shutdown due to current limiting, the output is latched off until the switch is reset. The MIC2076A can be reset by removing the load, toggling the enable input, or cycling VIN. Both devices employ soft-start circuitry that minimizes inrush current in applications where highly capacitive loads are employed. A fault status output flag is asserted during overcurrent or thermal shutdown conditions. Transient faults are internally filtered. The MIC2026A/2076A are available in an 8-pin SOIC package.

The MIC2090 and MIC2091 are high-side MOSFET power switches optimized for general-purpose 50mA or 100mA low power distribution in circuits requiring over-current limiting and circuit protection. Typical applications for these parts are for switching power in USB ports, portable consumer items, camera and camcorder motor protection, thermal printer head protection, and many other low current-load switching applications. The MIC2090 and MIC2091 come in two versions: auto-retry current limit and output latch off on an over current fault. The MIC2090 and MIC2091 are offered in a space saving 5-pin SOT-23 package with an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
