AD5624Quad,12-BitnanoDAC® with 5ppm/°C On-Chip Reference | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 11 | Active | The AD5624/AD5664, members of thenanoDAC®family, are low power, quad, 12-, 16-bit buffered voltage-out DACs that operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and are guaranteed monotonic by design. The AD5624/AD5664 require an external reference voltage to set the output range of the DAC. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC output powers up to 0 V and remains there until a valid write takes place. The parts contain a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 480 nA at 5 V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is 2.25 mW at 5 V, going down to 2.4 μW in power-down mode. The AD5624/AD5664 on-chip precision output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved. The AD5624/AD5664 use a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 50 MHz, and are compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTSRelative accuracy: ±12 LSBs maximum.Available in 10-lead MSOP and 10-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm, LFCSP_WD.Low power, typically consumes 1.32 mW at 3 V and 2.25 mW at 5 V.Maximum settling time of 4.5 μs (AD5624) and 7 μs (AD5664).APPLICATIONSProcess controlData acquisition systemsPortable battery-powered instrumentsDigital gain and offset adjustmentProgrammable voltage and current sourcesProgrammable attenuators |

AD56265 V, 12-BitnanoDAC®, Serial Interface in MSOP and LFCSP Packages | Data Acquisition | 3 | Active | The AD5626, a member of the nanoDAC®family, is a complete serial input, 12-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed to operate from a single 5 V supply. It contains the DAC, input shift register and latches, reference, and a rail-to-rail output amplifier. The AD5626 monolithic DAC offers the user low cost and ease of use in 5 V only systems.Coding for the AD5626 is natural binary with the MSB loaded first. The output op amp can swing to either rail and is set to a range of 0 V to 4.095 V for a one-millivolt-per-bit resolution. It is capable of sinking and sourcing 5 mA. An on-chip reference is laser trimmed to provide an accurate full-scale output voltage of 4.095 V.This part features a serial interface is high speed, three-wire, DSP compatible with data in (SDIN), clock (SCLK) and load strobe (LDAC). There is also a chip-select pin for connecting multiple DACs.TheCLRinput sets the output to zero scale at power on or upon user demand. The AD5626 is specified over the extended industrial tempera-ture range (–40°C to +85°C). The AD5626 is available in MSOP and LFCSP surface-mount packages.APPLICATIONSPortable instrumentationDigitally controlled calibrationServo controlsProcess control equipmentPC peripherals |
