ADUM1200Dual-Channel Digital Isolator (2/0 Channel Directionality) | Isolators | 24 | Active | The ADuM1200 is a dual-channel, digital isolator with 2/0 directionality based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technologies, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocouplers.By avoiding the use of LEDs and photodiodes,iCoupler devices remove the design difficulties commonly associated with optocouplers. The typical optocoupler concerns regarding uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects are eliminated with the simpleiCoupler digital interfaces and stable performance characteristics. The need for external drivers and other discrete components is eliminated with theseiCoupler products. Further-more,iCoupler devices consume one-tenth to one-sixth the power of optocouplers at comparable signal data rates. The ADuM120x family of isolators provides two independent isolation channels in a variety of channel configurations and data rates (see the Ordering Guide). Both parts operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. In addition, the ADuM120x provide low pulse width distortion (<3 ns for CR grade) and tight channel-to-channel matching (<3 ns for CR grade). Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, the ADuM120x isolators have a patented refresh feature that ensures dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions and during power-up/power-down conditions.ADuM1200W and ADuM1201W are automotive grade versions qualified for 125°C operation per AEC-Q100. ADUM1233Isolated, Precision Half-Bridge Driver, 0.1 A Output | Isolators - Gate Drivers | 2 | Active | The ADuM1233 is an isolated, half-bridge gate driver that employs the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology to provide independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to optocoupler-based solutions.By avoiding the use of LEDs and photodiodes, thisiCoupler gate drive device is able to provide precision timing characteristics not possible with optocouplers. Furthermore, the reliability and performance stability problems associated with optocoupler LEDs are avoided. In comparison to gate drivers employing high voltage level translation methodologies, the ADuM1233 offers the benefit of true, galvanic isolation between the input and each output. Each output can be operated up to ±700 VPEAKrelative to the input, thereby supporting low-side switching to negative voltages. The differential voltage between the high side and low side can be as high as 700 VPEAK.As a result, the ADuM1233 provides reliable control over the switching characteristics of IGBT/MOSFET configurations over a wide range of positive or negative switching voltages.ApplicationsIsolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drivesPlasma displaysIndustrial invertersSwitching power supplies |

ADUM1240Micropower, Dual-Channel Digital Isolators, Default High (2/0 Channel Directionality) | Digital Isolators | 4 | Active | The ADuM1240 /ADuM1241/ADuM1245/ADuM1246are micropower, dual-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology. (Quad-channel products available). Combining high speed, complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technologies, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler devices. The 20-lead SSOP version of the ADuM1240 / ADuM1241 / ADuM1245 / ADuM1246 allows control of the internal refresh functions. As shown in Figure 3, in standard operating mode, when ENx= 0 (internal refresh enabled), the current per channel is less than 10 μA.When ENx= 1 (internal refresh disabled), the current per channel drops to less than 1 μA.The ADuM1240 / ADuM1241 / ADuM1245 / ADuM1246 are packaged in either a 20-lead SSOP for 3.75 kV reinforced isolation or an 8-lead SOIC for 3 kV basic isolation. The devices meet regulatory requirements, such as UL and CSA standards. In addition to the space saving package options, the ADuM1240 / ADuM1241 / ADuM1245 / ADuM1246 operate with supplies as low as 2.25 V. All models provide low, pulse width distortion at <8 ns. ADUM1241Micropower, Dual-Channel Digital Isolators, Default High (1/1 Channel Directionality) | Evaluation Boards | 5 | Active | The ADUM1241 is a micropower, dual-channel digital isolator which has a default high and 1/1 directionality based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology, (Quad-channel products available). Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technologies, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocoupler devices, yet require the lowest power of any available isolation product.Packaged in an 8-lead SOIC, this series of quad, 3 kV digital isolation devices operate with supplies as low as 2.5 V, offering the lowest available power consumption at a fraction of the power of comparable isolators at comparable data rates (up to 2 Mbps). In addition, all models provide low pulse width distortion (<8 ns for A grade) and an input glitch filter for extraneous noise disturbance protection. All models operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging as low as 2.25 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems, as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. All products also have an output default logic state in the absence of the input power.
