MAX4066Low-Cost, Low-Voltage, Quad, SPST, CMOS Analog Switch | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 26 | Active | The MAX4066/MAX4066A quad, SPST, CMOS analog switches are designed to provide superior performance over the industry-standard devices. These new switches feature guaranteed operation from +2.0V to +16V and are fully specified at 3V, 5V, and 12V. Both parts offer 45Ω on-resistance and 2Ω channel-to-channel matching at 12V, plus 4Ω flatness over the specified signal range. Each device is controlled by TTL/CMOS input levels and can be used as a bilateral switch or multiplexer/demultiplexer.Low off leakage current (100pA for the MAX4066A) and low power consumption (0.5µW) make the MAX4066/ MAX4066A ideal for battery-operated equipment. These parts are also suitable for low-distortion audio applications. Both devices are available in 14-pin DIP and SO packages, as well as a 16-pin QSOP. ESD protection is greater than 2000V per Method 3015.7.ApplicationsAudio/Video Signal RoutingBattery-Powered ApplicationsCommunication SystemsLow-Voltage Data AcquisitionSample-and-Hold Circuits |
MAX40660High-Bandwidth Automotive Transimpedance Amplifier with Fast Output Recovery and Input Current Clamp for LiDAR | Op Amp Evaluation Boards | 3 | Active | The MAX40660/MAX40661 are transimpedance amplifiers for optical distance measurement receivers in LiDAR applications. Low noise, high gain, low group delay, and fast recovery from overload make these TIAs ideal for distance-measurement applications. Important features include 2.1pA input-referred noise density (MAX40660), an internal input clamp, pin-selectable 25kΩ and 50kΩ transimpedance, and wide bandwidth (490MHz (typ) for the MAX40660 with 0.5pF input capacitance and 25kΩ transimpedance; 160MHz (typ) for the MAX40661 with 10pF input capacitance). An offset current input allows optional adjustment of input offset current. A low-power/standby control input reduces the supply current by better than 80% to help reduce average power supply current between pulses. The MAX40660/MAX40661 transimpedance amplifiers feature AEC-Q100 qualification over the -40°C to +125°C automotive operating temperature range and are available in a 3mm x 3mm, 10-lead TDFN package with side-wettable flanks, making them excellent choices for automotive LiDAR applications. In addition to the TDFN package, the MAX40660 is available as bare die.ApplicationsAutomotive ApplicationsAutonomous Driving SystemsIndustrial Safety SystemsLIDAR ReceiversOptical Distance Measurement |

MAX407Single, Dual, Quad, 1.2µA Max, Single-Supply Op Amps | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 14 | Active | The MAX4069–MAX4072 low-cost, bidirectional, high-side, current-sense amplifiers are ideal for monitoring battery charge and discharge currents in notebooks, cell phones, and other portable equipment. They feature up to 24V input common-mode voltage range, low 100µA supply current (which drops to only 10µA in shutdown), and a total output error of less than 1.5%. The wide 1.35V to 24V input common-mode range is independent of the supply voltage, ensuring that the current-sense feedback remains accurate even when connected to a battery pack in deep discharge. To achieve maximum flexibility, an external current-sense resistor is used along with a Gain Select pin to choose either 50V/V or 100V/V. A single output pin continuously monitors the transition from charge to discharge and avoids the need for a separate polarity output. The MAX4070 contains an internal 2.5V reference. The charging current is represented by an output voltage from 2.5V to VCC, while discharge current is given from 2.5V to GND. The MAX4071 is similar, but with a reference voltage of 1.5V. The MAX4069 has an adjustable reference voltage, set by two external resistors. The MAX4072 has an input for an external reference. The MAX4069/MAX4071/MAX4072 operate from a 2.7V to 24V single supply. The MAX4070 operates from a 3.6V to 24V single supply. All devices are specified over the automotive operating temperature range, -40°C to +125°C. The MAX4070/MAX4071/MAX4072 are available in 8-pin µMAX® and 8-pin thin QFN packages. The MAX4069 is available in a 10-pin µMAX package.ApplicationsCell Phone Battery-Current MonitoringMotor ControlNotebook Fuel GaugingPower-Management SystemsSmart Battery Packs/Chargers |
