AEM, Inc. (formerly American Electronic Materials, Inc.), founded in 1986, is a leading developer and manufacturer of SMD components for circuit protection applications requiring safe and predictable performance in extreme conditions. The company is the sole supplier of FM12 style high-reliability fuses listed on the DSCC approved QPL and the world's sole manufacturer of high-reliability ferrite chip beads designed for space and military use.
AEM high-reliability fuses are used by NASA and every major manufacturer of satellite, spacecraft, and space-related hardware throughout the world. Their automotive products are AEC-Q200 Rev.E qualified and IATF 16949 certified, setting new standards for reliable performance in demanding automotive applications. The company has received accolades including Gold Supplier Award from Northrop Grumman and Certificate of Excellence from Lockheed Martin.
