Description

The NCP4640 is a 50mA CMOS Voltage Regulator with a wide input voltage range of 4V to 36V and a maximum input tolerance up to 50V. The device has a low quiescent current and its multiple protection features include a peak current limit circuit, a short circuit current limit and a thermal shutdown mechanism . The device is available in a SOT-89-5 where space is at a premium. The SOIC6-TL package which has greater power dissipation capability may introduced on demand. Voltage options are available in 100 mV steps from 2.0V to 12.0V. Contact your sales representative with specific requirements.
