M-284-02 Series

The M-284 Series 36 V 175 A Marine Battery Disconnect Switch is a marine-grade, brass-body master battery disconnect switch for boat and commercial vehicle applications that features single-pole, single-throw (SPST) circuitry. Disconnecting a boat or vehicle battery from the electrical system with a master battery disconnect switch prevents potential thermal events and ensures the system is shut down during maintenance or an emergency. In addition, using a manual battery disconnect switch during periods of inactivity, such as when a boat or vehicle is stored, prevents parasitic loads from draining the battery. This Cole Hersee brand disconnect switch (M-284-02) is rated for 1000 A intermittent at 15 seconds on, 5 minutes off and features silver-plated brass studs. This model also features an O-ring seal at the mounting stem and a gasket seal at the terminal insulator.
