The 2000 series Robust Ruggedized Keypads are ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. They are constructed to survive in exposed, wet or dirty environments. Available in 4 key, 12 key and 16 key configurations, these robust keypads can be fixed to the surface of host enclosure or local beneath an aperture in a panel. Keys move with a positive "over-centre" action to provide a responsible tactile data entry. This excellent tactile response combined with a home pip and high contrast keytop characters make these keypads accessible for those with visual impairment. Simple row and column circuit matrix, terminated by a male, gold-plated, square pin, 0.1-inch (2.54mm) pitch connector with locking ramp. Can be fixed to a flat surface or under panel mounted for a flush, low-profile installation.
